School Dinner Menu

School Dinners.

It is our firm belief that all children and learners need a substantial (hot) meal in the middle of the day.

Meals and drinks are prepared in the school kitchen, which is run by Facilities Management - owned by Bradford City Council.

All meals are served in the school dining hall.  School meals cost £2.30 per day (£11.50 per week) payable in advance on Monday mornings.  Lunch money can be paid via Parent pay or in cash and this should be in a sealed envelope clearly marked with the child’s name and class and placed in the secure dinner money collection box in the front entrance hall.

Children may bring a packed lunch to eat.  If you choose to send your child with a packed lunch please note that glass containers and fizzy drinks are not permitted.  We also promote healthy eating and do not allow our children to bring chocolate as part of their school dinner. Children should not be bringing to school anything that may contain nuts (nutella), as we have some children in school with allergies.

Please also note that children are encouraged to eat as much fruit, veg and salad as they want and are encouraged to try 'new' foods. Water is freely available on every table at all times.

Miss Katy McLean is our Kitchen Manager/Chef and is in charge of our school kitchen.

If you need to talk to the school kitchen about anything, especially payment of school dinners, then please call them directly on : 01274 642063.

PLEASE NOTE:  If the payment of dinner monies is forgotten or is not paid for 10 consecutive school days then your child will be expected to bring a packed lunch from the 11th school day until the arrears are settled.  You will receive reminders if dinner money payments are behind via Parent Pay or by letter.  If you have any concerns or difficulties, please contact the school kitchen on 01274 642063 and ask to speak to the Kitchen Manager, Miss McLean.
