Our School Uniform Aims
We believe that high standards of uniform help to provide a clear identity, enabling pupils to identify with their school and be part of the school team.
We aim for keep the costs of uniform as low as possible and by asking children to NOT wear obviously sports branded clothes and trainers, we remove peer pressure and the pressure on parents to buy expensive clothing for school.
We aim for our children to be comfortable when sitting and when at play, to be active at breaktimes and enjoy outdoor learning.

Children do not need to bring any other items of stationary, pencil cases or toys to school as these can get lost or damaged and this can cause problems. Everything that your child needs will be provided in school.
Mobile phones are not permitted. If your child in Year 6 needs a phone for walking home alone, it MUST be switched off at school and they MUST hand this in to the class teacher. School would prefer children to not bring phones to school and does not take responsibility for any loss or damage that may occur.
Please ensure that all of your child’s items of clothing are clearly labelled with their name, especially coats and jumpers. We are a large school and children’s clothing all looks the same and can easily get lost. Please write on the inside label with a permanent pen or sew / iron name labels into clothing – this will help us to return lost property to the correct child.
