Welcome to Peel Park Primary
Welcome
A very warm welcome to our website, where you will find lots of information about school. If you have any questions or if you are looking for a new school for your child and would like to look around, please telephone the school office.
Peel Park Primary is a three-form entry primary school* and nursery in the Undercliffe area, close to Bradford City Centre. We serve a wonderful diverse community and our parents, governors and staff are committed to putting our children at the heart of everything that we do.
Our large, modern, building is set in extensive grounds, surrounded by varied outdoor play areas and encompassing our own Forest School and allotments, where children thrive in learning outdoors. We have excellent facilities both indoors and out, including a Cookery Room, Art Room, Bicycle Library, Language Bridge (for pupils who are new to English) and Nurture Room. We have specialist classrooms for children with complex additional needs and our own sensory room and regulation space on site.
At Peel Park we are proud to be one of only eight Champion Heritage Schools in the country. We are committed to embedding local heritage into the curriculum, ensuring young people develop a sense of place, a connection to where they live, and an understanding of the significance of people and places in local, national and world history.
Peel Park holds Communication Friendly Status for 2-4 year olds, we have our own Speech and Language Therapist and we teach Oracy lessons throughout school. We aim for our pupils to develop all the tools that they need to be confident communicators in life.
We are passionate about ensuring our pupils have an exciting and ambitious curriculum that is brought to life by real-life experiences, practical approaches and wide and varied opportunities. Check out the Curriculum Enrichment section of our website to see some of the exciting activities at Peel Park.

Our mission
To create an inclusive culture based on mutual respect and understanding, where children feel safe to explore and confident to try new ideas and discuss their views openly.
To ensure that all pupils have the skills to communicate and are given the experiences to develop the tools that they need to be excellent learners.
To develop ambitious young citizens who recognise the talents within themselves and know how to stay healthy in mind and in body.
