We have a Nursery and a 60 place Reception Unit. Our Reception Unit consists of two classes with 30 children in each class. Each class has a teacher and an Early Years Practitioner. Our Nursery is open every morning 8.30 am until 11.30 am and we currently offer 39 places. Nursery is led by a qualified teacher and an Early Years Practitioner.
The areas of learning are delivered though both child and adult led learning. All areas of provision are meticulously planned to include questioning and a strong focus on vocabulary. There are also short intervals during the day of 10/ 20 minutes for whole class teaching on the carpet.
Our children are given the freedom and time to develop into independent leaners. Our classrooms, inside and outside, are full of resources that provide our children with all they need to play and explore; actively learn and create and think critically.
