Our school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the physical, mental and emotional welfare of every pupil, both inside and outside of the school premises. We implement a whole-school preventative approach to managing safeguarding concerns, ensuring that the wellbeing of pupils is at the forefront of all the action taken. We ensure that we address any safeguarding issues as they arise and, where deemed necessary, add them to our PHSE / Relationships curriculum. It is important that the children at Peel Park Primary School are aware of the risks in our local area and know how to respond to them safely and appropriately.
We work with a wide range of external agencies to ensure that our curriculum helps our pupils know how to keep safe in a wide range of scenarios. Our aim is to prepare our pupils for a happy, safe life in the local community and in the wider world.
